A couple of UFO sightings make the news each year with some very well-known ones that everyone has heard of. It seems, however, that there are many other sightings that do not make it into the mainstream media. One example is the 11 October 2012 sighting over Tijuana, Mexico reported by UFO Sightings Daily.

Scott Waring publishes video of a strange event that could be interpreted to be an alien life form. Apart from the entity or object clearly seen in the sky, the most remarkable - and convincing - part of the video is the very excited child who keeps calling "Mira, mira" (Look, look).

Dubbed the "jellyfish" UFO, the object seen in the video is amorphous, sometimes pink, sometimes green, with one or two bright lights resembling the afterburners of a rocket. In fact, in some of the shots, it looks very like the space shuttle hurtling skywards, except for the colours, that is.

Juan, whose brother took the video, puts it this way: "The object which was recorded by my brother is very strange." Speaking in Spanish, he went on, "It seems to be transparent and it was emitting radiant lights. They made me think of plasma." Juan was adamant that this was not an effect that could have been caused by the rays of the sun (one of the many explanations that non-believers put forward). "I saw it with my own eyes. It was unlike anything I have ever seen before. It really did look like a giant jellyfish."

The video that Juan’s brother took shows the object moving rapidly about in the sky above north-eastern Tijuana, one could almost say darting from place to place as if searching for something. The video captured almost all of the sighting, which lasted nearly four minutes. As with many UFO sightings, the craft seemed to have completed its mission and vanished from sight. "Before today, I thought that UFOs were nonsense, something imagined by hyper-sensitive people, people with too much imagination. But now I have seen with my own eyes a phenomenon so strange, so beautiful. Now I know that UFOs are real"

Asked whether he thought this was an alien space craft, Juan thought for a long time and then said, "No. I don’t think it was a space craft. It changed shape too much. No," he concluded, "I think that this object is possibly a biological life form." Is it from outer space? "Si, si,si. Por supuesto," he nodded emphatically.
