Multiple UFOs over Newton

Once Halloween is over, all supernatural happenings should be over for the year.  But, on  November 1st, 2012, a couple driving on Rte. 108, Newton, NH witnessed something not easily explained in everyday terms.

“My boyfriend and I were driving in my Mustang from his house to mine. He points and says look at that light” said the primary witness. “A bright aspirin-sized light came toward us, I pulled my car over, and then the light stopped.”  The witness continued that they could see it quite clearly through the windshield. “It hovered for a while, and then the light went out.”

But the show was by no means over. “A second after I had noticed it directly in front of us hovering over the tree line, it dipped down, then shot straight up and then came straight toward us,” the witness reported.  “It was tiny, about the size of an aspirin, a very bright white light.”

The witness pulled over into a wide driveway on the left side of the road still facing the direction the light was coming.  She was hoping to get a better view of this strange sight. “It stopped as if it was performing just for us; it was like we had a front row seat,” she explained in awe. “It hovered there for several seconds and then the light just went out.”

The witness and her boyfriend were amazed by what they had seen, but there was more to come. She went on, “After one second of blackness, even brighter horizontal lights appeared, hovered for a minute or so and then flew off.”

Both witnesses tried to record the event. The woman made a Photoshop sketch and attached it to the statement she made to MUFON (the Mutual UFO Network), based on her perspective of the events. Her boyfriend decided to do the same by using his girlfriend’s phone to take a video. However, he found out later that, while the camera showed that it was recording, the only thing he had to show for all his efforts was two black still shots.

He reported later that when he got out of the car to take a video of the scene, it sounded like a plane. Later that night he wrote: “I saw a sizzling bright white light too bright for anything in the sky dip down below the tree line, stay there for about 40 seconds, then fly strait back up, split into a row of 5 lights (maybe 7) then fly vertically overhead. As it passed I could see a dark hull against the bluish sky and it was diamonds shaped with the row of lights on the angle in front and one light in the back angle, I thought it might be a plane at that point but the size was wrong.”

What was it?  MUFON’s database of similar sightings strongly suggests that it could be alien spacecraft.  The New Hampshire might agree.
