Cenapred, the Mexican National Centre for the Prevention of Disasters, maintains live cams trained on a number of volcanoes, including Popocatepetlan active volcano, 43 miles southeast of Mexico City.  Over time the cameras have captured volcanic activity, of course, but on December 28, 2012, one screenshot showed what appears to be a metallic disk.  Scott C. Waring, owner and founder of the UFO-monitoring website UFOSightingsdaily.com, spotted it while perusing the live cam footage.
 
“I caught sight of a metallic disk inside the mouth of the crater. I did not see it in the photo before or after, so I only have this one shot,” Waring explained on his website, “but it is clearly a circular disk with another smaller disk at its top.”

This is not the first time that something extraordinary has been caught by the Popocatepetl live cams.“This is the same cam that recorded the 1km long UFO that entered the crater last month.”  Waring is referring here to an unidentified object estimated to be 150 meters wide and almost 1 kilometer long, which was seen entering crater of the volcano at 05:04:57on November 15, 2012. 

No explanation of the UFO’s purpose has yet been presented, but it strongly resembles the cylindrical vessel described in the December 16, 1999 meeting between Ole K of Sweden and Lacerta, a self-described “female reptile being, belonging to a very old reptilian race.”
