A California family and neighbours reported watching a black, triangle-shaped object hovering in the sky for about eight minutes before it appeared to turn and move quickly out of the area beginning about 4:15 p.m. on March 3, 2013, according to testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database. The reporting witness was outside in her backyard with family members when a neighbor pointed out the object in the sky and offered up binoculars for a better look. "I looked through the binoculars and saw what appeared to be a black, triangular-shaped object," the witness stated. "It did not appear to be moving, but hovering. Hard to be sure as it was really far away. My husband estimated it to be about five miles up. The binoculars shake a bit when you are looking through them so, it's up for debate as to whether the movement of the object was from the shaking of my hands, or the movement of the object itself.
