A snake like alien entity has been observed in an image taken by the space shuttle discovery in August 2001, as reported by UFO Sightings Daily. The website, UFO Sightings Daily, is coordinated by Scott C. Waring. He had been affiliated with the United States Air Force at SAC base (USAF flight line). He currently owns an ESL School in Taiwan.

In this report, Scott Waring has published a photograph of the alien entity, along with a YouTube Video.

Mr. Waring describe his initial reaction, when he saw the image. He also tells us how he checked NASA’s website to confirm that the image was real.

"When I first saw this photo, I almost jumped to the conclusion that it was impossible, but I checked the NASA link and yes, it is there!”

Mr. Waring provides a description of the object.

“This object looks like a snake the way it bends. At one end of it there looks to be a head.”

He also tells us how it is unlikely that shuttle crew of Discovery would have thrown that snake oput in space.  

“Did the STS105 Shuttle crew throw a snake outside just to observe its reactions as it slowly falls, doubtful.”

Finally, he tells us why it is impossible to determine the size of the object.

"It’s impossible to determine its size unless we know the distance it was from the camera."
