David Icke, British writer and UFO researcher, has claimed that the moon is a not a natural satellite of our planet. Instead, he claims that it was artificially created by regressive aliens beings for controlling our planet. He hints at the presence of alien bases on the moon.

The moon is a creation of alien intelligence was first suggested by two members of the then Soviet Academy of Sciences, Michael Vasin and Alexander Shcherbakov, in a July 1970 article entitled "Is the Moon the Creation of Alien Intelligence?

David Icke provides us with further explanation of why the moon was created. He cites prevalent scientific facts and theories which explain how the moon affects tides, hurricanes and even our brains.  Mr. Icke states that the reptilian Archons, who were mentioned in the Gnostic text of Nag Hammdi, created the moon to alter our brains.

“ The Archons engineered our brains in a way, where left side of the brain is a Reptilian brain, and right is the normal human (naturally bred) brain; this is why when there is a full moon, our left side (controlled side) gets the most power, and juice over the right brain.”
