The magnetic poles of our planet, especially the North Pole, have been shifting at an alarming rate. Some researchers believe that due to the pole shift, the earth will have to face cataclysmic events in the near future. In fact, even scientists agree that the flipping of the magnetic poles is long overdue.

An article published by Reuters, quotes Conall Mac Niocaill, an earth scientist at Oxford University, who explains the changes in the magnetic poles and says that the reversal is long overdue.

"Magnetic north has migrated more than 1,500 kilometers over the past century. In the past 150 years, the strength of the magnetic field has lessened by 10 percent, which could indicate a reversal is on the cards."

MrMaverickstar, a YouTube user who studies this phenomenon, has suggested in a video posted in YouTube that this pole shift might be happening at the very moment.  He tells us how the North Pole could be in Siberia, in less than 2 years.

“Magnetic north pole has moved 161 miles in 6 months only, this puts its arrival in Siberia in less than 2 years.”
