A witness has reported sighting a cigar shaped UFO over Calgary, AB on 1 October, 2013 at 7:05 PM. This report has been obtained from a testimony included in the database of Mutual UFO Network (MUFON), published on 2 October, 2013.

The witness describes how he saw a bright light while looking out of the window after dinner.

“I had just finished dinner and was looking out the window at the blue sky and saw a bright light over the new part of the city in the downtown area.”

The witness talks about its shape, size and brightness.

“It was a bright light in the shape of a cigar about the size of a medium airplane, with no wings or tail.  It was like neon light but brighter.”

The witness then describes how the UFO disappeared for a few seconds behind a cloud that came out of nowhere.

“I was staring at it and it was as if a cloud came in front of it, but no clouds were in the air and it disappeared for a couple of seconds then reappeared in the same position.”

The witness finally describes how the UFO disappeared after a few minutes.

“As I watched, it stayed for maybe another minute and then a turbulence of air seemed to come from the north end of it and it disappeared.”
