An eyewitness submitted a report to the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) on January 10, 2014 about strange lights just below the moon which he initially thought to be stars.

A father-daughter bonding became interesting when two lights appeared below the moon. The father thought it was a star.

The witness told his daughter about the lights he saw.

"Look at those lights, they are moving."

He further described the movement of the star-like lights.

"I was noticing what appeared to be 2 stars below the moon. I then noticed that the lower star started moving left to right and quickly noticed another star-like light below it suddenly appear and seem to be moving in unison."

The eyewitnesses' daughter also noticed how strange the lights were.

"What the heck was that, that wasn’t normal, did we just see UFOs?"

The lights were too slow to be considered a shooting star and besides there were 3 of them; nor it can be commercial or private planes as the lights stayed steady. It did not blink even once.

This is not the only reported sighting of bright lights in the California sky for 2014.

Many witnesses saw strange lights over California on New Year’s Eve, which were far different from planes and fireworks.

Unlike the usual sightings where an eyewitness only see one odd looking light or object, this time, there were several.
