Place: Kennewick, State of Washington, United States.

Located in the southwest bank of the Columbia River, and with a population of 73,000 inhabitants, the small town of Kennewick is considered as one of the three components of the Tri-Cities metropolitan area (along with Richland and Pasco).

However, it is a well-known fact that the most unusual events generally occur in small, quiet locations like this. And this time, it would not be the exception.

On 30 May, UFO specialised website MUFON.com received a report of “some lights” that were seen moving through the sky during the night of the 29 May in the American village.

“My friend was watching television in the living room on the couch; the window is north from the couch. She looked to the window and saw some lights”, affirmed one of the anonymous witnesses. “She quickly jumped up and started yelling ‘LOOK, LOOK!’, as she ran out the front door to the right of the window”, this person said.

At first sight, the flying object was thought to be “a shooting star”. “My friend saw a moving light in the dark sky, thinking it was a shooting star “, claimed one of the observers, but then “she [his friend] got up to look to quickly find out it was actually a UFO”.

About the characteristics of the unidentified craft, the anonymous watcher affirmed that it had “two lights that blended together but also pulsed slightly at the source of the lights”.

Nevertheless, soon after, the object mysteriously got lost in the dark night. “We lost sight of it as it went behind our house”, expresses the report. “We could not see in after it flew off”,

Long Description of Sighting Report

1. My friend was watching television in the living room on the couch, the window is North from the couch. She looked to the window and saw some lights. She quickly jumped up and started yelling "LOOK LOOK" As she ran out the front door to the right of the window. We all got up and and ran outside watching the UFO fly slowly by.

2. My friend saw a moving light in the dark sky, thinking it was a shooting star she got up to look to quickly find out it was actually a UFO looking object.

4. Spun downward slowly. Had two lights that blended together but also pulsed slightly at the source of the lights.

5. At first we felt in awe. Then after we lost sight of the UFO the shock of the rare sighing finally set in.

6. We lost sight of it as it went behind our house, all of us being fairly short, we could not see in after it flew off.
