An eye witness in the State of Virginia reported sighting a triangle UFO moving low on Route 29 North in Charlottesville at 8.55 p.m. on July 24, 2016.

The witness said he watched as well as videotaped the object with his phone.  Though it started out as nothing he thought videotaping it might help explain what it was. Given the number of UFO sightings in the country it seemed normal to assume that what he saw could be another case of UFO.

He was with his mother, who corroborated what they saw. They were driving near the Kroger and K-Mart in Charlottesville when the incident occurred.

According to the testimony in case 77904 from the Mutual UFO Network, MUFON, witness reporting database, the witness said that he took the digital video. Further, explaining the scenario that unfolded before them. “The UFO was first stationary and then moved to a northeast straight-line path and was gone,” he said.

The videotape was uploaded with the MUFON report and filed on July 24, 2016. Virginia MUFON STAR Team Investigator Norm Gagnon is still investigating the story as most UFO sightings can simply be explained as something natural or just man-made.

Charlottesville is the county seat of Albemarle County with a population of 48,210. So little does happen around here and when it does no matter how minor, it is bound to get the attention it deserves. So far there have been no more triangular objects spotted in the area.
