On 31 July, a very strange event occurred in the city of Sudbury, Canada.

According to an anonymous report published on UFO specialised website MUFON.com, two alleged “star-like orange objects” were seen hovering above the Canadian urban centre.

“Around 11:30pm Eastern Time, my boyfriend and I were outside and he asked ‘do you see that?’", the witness stated. Then, “in the west night sky, there were two star-like orange objects moving in figure 8's like a chasing game”, this person affirmed.

The alleged UFOs “seemed very far away due to the same brightness as some of the brighter stars in the night sky”. A few seconds later, “they move away from each other, and were stationary for about 30 minutes”, and finally faded out.

Long Description of Sighting Report

Around 11:30pm Eastern time, my boyfriend and I were outside and he asked "do you see that?" In the west night sky, there were two starlike orange objects moving in figure 8's like a chasing game, they seemed very far away due to the same brightness as some of the brighter stars in the night sky, then after about 10-15 seconds they move away from each other, and were stationary for about 30 minutes. Then slowly faded out.

There was no noise, no clouds, and were not of anything I've witnessed while star gazing before. I've seen comets, the ISS, planes and helicopters, in the night sky. This wasn't anything of that sort.
