A recent case of a possible UFO was sighted on Middle Waterton Lake on the 5^th of August 2016 at around 12.00 a.m.

The reporting witness said the event happened to his son-in-law.

“We were having lunch when he said he got some strange photographs,” the reporting witness stated. “Earlier in the day, he was canoeing on Middle Waterton Lake, taking pictures of the scenery. As we were having some lunch he mentioned that he got some strange photographs.”

The witness’s first reaction to the photos is that he had captured a UFO, but had no idea what to do next and that is why he consulted family and friends for a bit of help and advise on how to proceed with the strange pictures.

“Later, when he looked at the pictures, he saw a green orb in them. He had taken a series of eight photos and in these series the orb first appeared just above the surface of the lake, then rose about 20 feet in the air before it descended again to the surface of the lake.”

The reporting witness as well as the other people present decided to have a look at the pictures for themselves to see what all the awe was about.

“We all looked closely at the photos expecting it was refraction in the lens or some other explainable phenomena, but it just couldn’t be explained. He is a mechanical engineer, and even he is mystified. ”

The reporting witness then decided to make a report with MUFON, of course with permission from the son-in-law.

A report was filed in MUFON on August 13, 2016.

Investigations are still ongoing as most UFOs have explainable reasons for their existence.

An alert has been issued for residents to be on the lookout.
