A recent UFO sighting in Alberta, Canada has left some residents shocked and excited at the same time. Even though Canada is a hotspot for most UFO sightings it is not every day that one wakes up with the thought of seeing one.

An eye witness in Calgary, Alberta recently saw a flying object with red lights on. The object was moving at a high speed, passing the planes close by.

“I was sitting in a friend’s backyard looking towards the skyline, watching many planes taking a landing approach to the airport heading north,” the witness stated.

The night sky was clear as it was a full moon. The planes and anything else in the sky could be seen very clearly and the planes also had flashing lights on.

“All of a sudden, out of nowhere an object came in my view lower than the line of sight for the landing plane, moving very fast, red lights were at the head of objects but it had no flashing lights. It had a white bright sleek body smaller than the airplane body and made no sound.”

The object seemed to be passing the planes even though it was heading the same direction as the planes. Eventually the reporting witness lost sight of the object as it went out of his line of sight.

“I recognized right away that it was very different than the plane and alerted my friends who by the time turned to look it had gone. It was moving way too fast to be a plane on a landing approach and flying lower, very strange shape.”

The incident took place on September 15, 2016 at around 8.40 pm.

A report was filed with MUFON on September 16, 2016.

Investigations are ongoing.
