On 22 September, British online newspaper Express published a very interesting report about an unusual event that occurred five days before, on 18 September, in the town of Radcliffe, United Kingdom. According to this report, “a circular, silver shape” was seen hovering in the sky in broad daylight.

Father-of-two and photographer Peter Lee (55) was watching the sky and the planes flying by with his daughters while waiting to board the tram, when they spotted the alleged UFO. “It was thousands of feet up in the air, higher than some of the planes, and was moving very, very slowly”, he expressed. “It was so unusual looking I made sure I took a couple of pictures”.

Mr Lee commented that many people have told him it was a helium balloon. “A lot of people have said it's a helium balloon, but they don't go that far”. “When you look at the pictures, it's right above the clouds”, he said.

He also affirmed that he was able to photograph this strange object since he always carries his camera wherever he goes. “My daughters take the mickey that I always have my Canon camera with me - it comes with me everywhere”, he commented. "They laugh because I take pictures of everything - so they weren't surprised I took this”.

The Radcliffe citizen thinks this unknown object might actually be a real UFO, but he does not believe these images could reveal the existence of extraterrestrial life. “I joked to the girls that it could be a UFO, they said 'yeah right’”, he asserted. “But it could possibly be that - a UFO is something that's unidentified and we don't know what this is”, he added.

On this event, UFO researcher and writer Scott C Waring, of UFO Sightings Daily expressed: “This UFO is very similar to the UFO seen on top of the World Trade Center Memorial light back on Sept 11, 2016. The shape and size would match. It looks like a person in a white cloak and a hoodie looking down at the ground”.

Peter Lee, from Radcliffe, Greater Manchester, was out at 2pm on September 18 with his daughters when he spotted the circular silver shape hovering in the sky.

The trio were watching planes fly overhead as they waited to catch a tram when the unidentified object drifted into sight and left them open mouthed.

Mr Lee, 57, said: "We always look at planes as they fly over and then there it was - we all saw it.

"It was thousands of feet up in the air, higher than some of the planes, and was moving very, very slowly.

"It was so unusual looking I made sure I took a couple of pictures.

It's like everything else, such as ghosts, you don't believe it until you see it.

Keen amateur photographer Mr Lee said that his camera goes everywhere with him, much to his daughters' mirth.

"They laugh because I take pictures of everything - so they weren't surprised I took this." Declassified MOD files released in 2013 revealed that UFO reports had been made in several areas of Greater Manchester over the years, including Radcliffe.
