On 02 October, the Minister of Transportation of Irak, Mr Kadam Fenjan, made a shocking declaration during a press conference held in Al-Nassiriya, a city located in the south of Iraq.

According to Mr Fenjan, the first airport to exist on Earth was located in Dhi Qar, and was built 5,000 years ago.

“Perhaps many of the people of the Dhi Qar Governorate do not know that the first airport to be built on planet Earth, 5,000 years ago, before the Christian era, was built here in Dhi Qar”, the minister said.

He expressed that there are references to this structure in the works of both ancient and modern researchers. “If you do not believe me, read the book of the great historian Zecharia Sitchin, who was an expert on Sumerian studies; read the books of Samuel Kramer, or the book written by H.G. Wells about this: ‘History Begins from Sumer’”, the Iraqi politician stated. “He [H.G. Wells] talked about the first airport built on the planet, which was in this place [Al-Nassiriya]”, he continued.

Mr Fenjan also explained the reasons for which he thinks the antique structure was constructed in that location. “This is the safest place for planes to land and take off, because some meteorological factors that limit an airplane’s manoeuvring ability do not exist in the Dhi Qar airport”, he declared. “Not only the airport, but the skies all over Dhi Qar are safe for planes, because there are no negative meteorological influences here”, he added.

“When the Sumerians settled here, they knew full well that the atmosphere here was suitable for flying to outer space”, he affirmed. “It was from here that the Sumerian spaceships took off towards the other planets”, Mr Fenjan manifested.

According to Mr Fenjan, the Sumerians not only had spaceships, but “they were the first to discover the 12^th planet, which was acknowledged a few days ago by NASA and named ‘Nibiru’, and which completes its orbit around the Sun every 3,600 years”.

On these impressive declarations, UFO investigator and writer Scott C Waring, of UFO Sightings Daily, said: “it does seem that Sumerians did have ancient alien technology if you look at their stone carvings and depictions of flying machines”. He also added that “perhaps he [Mr Feljan] had inside information about it that he is now leaking”.
