Alzheimer’s Caregiving: Remembering 4 You announces Fall 2012 Schedule

(Mapleton, ME) – Remembering4You .Com, a leading support, information, training and coaching website for caregivers and providers of services for individuals with Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia worldwide, announced Monday their Fall 2012 schedule for speaking engagements is now open.

Dr. Éthelle Lord offers her expertise as a Professional Alzheimer’s Coach and published author in the field of Alzheimer’s with a focus on caregiving. She draws from her many years of experience as a family caregiver for her husband who was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s and her training as a professional coach.

Dr. Éthelle Lord has firsthand knowledge of the isolation of family caregivers and the frustrations of professional caregivers within the larger institutional setting. This knowledge has let her to fill a need to provide support, training, and coaching to caregivers of individuals with Alzheimer’s.

She focuses her work in three main areas: family caregivers, professional caregivers, and facilities providing care to individuals with Alzheimer’s. She draws from these three areas of caregiving to help caregivers all over the world. Dr. Lord acts as an "Alzheimer’s Coach" with her clients as they care or have cared for an individual with Alzheimer’s and strengthens their determination to function better in a complex and exhausting role.

She coaches both individual caregivers and teams of caregivers within long-term facilities, speaks at conferences and teaches several teleclasses (a live, interactive class conducted over the telephone) with participants from around the world. Her articles have been published all over the world, some of them more controversial than others, but all very interesting and valuable.

Éthelle serves on the Research Committee of the International Coach Federation.

She holds a Doctorate of Management in Organizational Leadership from the University of Phoenix with a research emphasis on comparing executive coaching with other forms of traditional methods of training.
