5 Great Ways to Improve Your Life – Achieving Financial Success

Here are some tips that could improve your life.

1. Find out what your actual needs are

A need is anything that is essential or important and is required in order for us to function properly, a few examples are food, clothing and shelter, those thing are absolutely necessary, however we are all guilty of buying things that we do not need and those things are known as wants; Think about it do we really need to have 100 pair of shoes or outfits no we do not - in fact all we really need in reality is Oxygen which is the air we breathe, food, water, shelter and sleep, in addition we may want a few pieces of clothing, these are all the things we need to get by, it doesn’t hurt to make preparation for the future or to treat yourself every now and then but try to keep it simple and purchase those thing that you really need.

2. Try to cut back on unnecessary spending

Just imagine you have everything you need to make that perfect meal at home but instead you just decided - you know what I am too tired, I’ll just go and get me some fast food, sure it may seem like a great idea after all it will save you the energy you never had to begin with but nothing beats a well home cooked meal, not only is it healthier when done properly but you get a sense of satisfaction when you know exactly what it is that you are ingesting; moreover it saves you money that you can use later on or in case of an emergency.

A few more ways in which you can cut back is by limiting the amount of time you spend watching Television or surfing the net and maybe you can take a bus to work every now and then instead of driving your own vehicle finally you can prepare your lunch and take it to work with you that my friend will save you a whole lot in the end.

3. Say goodbye to things you no longer use

I know many of us tend to hold on to old stuff that we no longer use and in some cases there may be things that we have never even use and we kept piling one thing on top of the other, until our homes become all clustered and we can’t even find enough air to breathe; we have got to learn to let go off those things, so start by looking for those things in perfect conditions and you can pack them neatly in a carton box and donate it to charity.

For those additional things that you have no use for but they are not in good condition just go ahead and throw them away; the minute you get started you will notice how lighter your surroundings become and you will find a lot more space to organize yourself and the greatest part about giving up old things is that you make room for some newer and cooler ones.

4. Budget! Budget!! Budget!!!

If you have spent many years trying to figure out how to get your finances under control then it is quite simple you need to set a budget and stick to it quit spending more than what you earn.
It is quite simple to write a personal budget all you need to do is make a note of your total monthly income then you need to calculate all your expenses if you find that your expenses outweighed your income then you need to look at areas in which you need to cut back and get the job done.

Here is an example of a simple budget below.

Income 2000 - Expenses $200 (tithe) $200 (savings)

$1600 (for all other expenses)

5. Clear up all your debts

Proverbs 22:7 in the Bible says ‘The rich rule over the poor, and the borrower is slave to the lender this bible scripture is one of the truest statement I have ever come across, and I am sure millions of people feel the same way, most of us can attest to the fact that our monthly salaries have been used up long before we even get it in our hands - so as soon as we collect it we have to hand it over to those billing companies, loan agencies or that friend you borrowed from and the list goes on and on so that  is why it is so important that you try to clear all your debts as soon as possible and once you have done that then try your very best to live within your means and do not borrow another loan unless it is absolutely necessary.
