UFO: British Police Officer reports alien-like activity

A British Police Officer claims to have sighted a UFO on 18 December 2012 that was flying at a supersonic speed, while he was driving off-duty near the Birmingham airport. The information about this claim has been obtained from a report published by Police Oracle.  The report does not mention the name of the officer.

The unnamed officer, an acting sergeant with West Midlands police, saw a ‘light with a bluish tinge’ that ‘pulsed rhythmically’ and zoomed off.

When the officer and his colleague contacted the local air traffic control, they said that they had not seen anything.

According to Police Oracle, the information was obtained from Haunted Skies, where it was posted by a UFO enthusiast, to whom the officer had narrated the incited.

The report quotes the unnamed officer describing what he saw.

“I noticed a light in the sky which was pulsing rhythmically. It was very bright and had a bluish tinge to it.”

The report also mentions the initial reaction of the officer and why he thought that the object was not a plane.

I thought at first that it was a plane. Then I realised, as it was only a single light, this was not likely to be the case. Besides, I had never seen an aircraft in that part of the sky.”

Police Oracle also mentions how the West Midlands police was aware of the incident.

“West Midlands police said the force was aware of the incident but that ‘the officer had been off-duty on the night in question and he did not report anything officially to the control room’.

The report also carries the opinion of Nick Pope, who worked as a UFO investigator for the Ministry of Defence in the UK,  which was published in Birmingham’s Sunday Mercury.

“This could be the real thing – a UFO in our airspace and military aircraft scrambled to intercept.
