The witness begins the report by describing what he was doing at the time of the sighting and he also tells us that he lives in Montreal.

“I was visiting my grandparents in Durham, Ontario and we were having a small campfire in the back yard with the neighbours. I live in Montreal and I mentioned how nice it was to see so many stars.”

He says that he was arguing with another person about how one could easily spot a satellite by looking at the sky for a long time.

“Afterwards, I was arguing with my sister's boyfriend that if you looked long enough you could always find a satellite whizzing by in the sky.”

He then says that he scanned the sky and was able to see a satellite that was moving very fast. He also tells us that the satellite was coming from the East.

“So I decided to scan the stars and find a satellite to prove it to him. After looking around for about 30 seconds, I saw what I thought at first was the fastest moving satellite I had ever seen coming from the East.”

The witness describes the ‘satellite’ and how it appeared to be located at the tip of a dark triangular object.

“I quickly noticed not one light but three white lights that appeared to be the tips of a dark triangular object.”

He then tells us why he said that the satellite appeared to be located at the tip of a triangular object.

“I say tips because it didin't look like the lights were coming from a beneath the craft, rather the tips themselves seemed to be lit up.”

The witness tells us that the object was travelling very fast and then talks about its direction.

“It was travelling fairly fast and very high above me in a straight line from East to West.”

He describes the movement and elevation of the UFO. He also talks about the surface of the object.

“It moved it a very sleek way, I'm not sure how to describe it. Its surface was dark, and it might've been slightly transparent but I am not completely sure.”

He explains how he then excitedly asked everyone to look at the object when he realized that it was a UFO.

“Once I realized what I was seeing wasn't a satellite I said something like, ‘Oh my God it's a UFO! Look! Look!’”

The witness then tells us that apart from him, none of the other 6 people were able to see the UFO.

“Of course, none out of the 6 people that were there saw it.”

He tells us how the sighting only lasted for a short time and describes how the UFO disappeared behind some trees.

“The whole thing only lasted about 5 seconds before it disappeared from sight behind nearby trees.”

Finally, the witness says that he is not sure about what the object could be and that it gave him goosebumps.

“I'm not sure what the object could be, but it sure gave me goosebumps!”
