Canadian Basketball: Moncton Miracles beat Halifax Rainmen

The Halifax Rainmen fell to the Moncton Miracles on Monday night at the Moncton Coliseum by a score of 102-91.

The leading scorer for the Rainmen was Lawrence Wright with 16 points, followed by Tyrone Levett and Chris Hagan with 12 each.

Leading the Miracles was Trayvon Lathan with 29 points and 10 rebounds. Boubacar Coly had 19 points in the while, while Darrell Wonge had 18.

The Rainmen were outrebounded 60-43. Moncton had 42 points in the paint and 17 points off of turnovers. The box score statistics can be found at www.dakstats.com.

The Rainmen will play their next game on the road on February 3 against the Quebec Kebs, followed by two more road games before returning home to the Metro Centre on February 19 when they will face the first-place London Lightning at 2 p.m.
