Please be advised that this is for notice to the general public that a claim for improper confinement as a result of the false accusation of wrongful shoplifting is scheduled to be launched against the Maxi-et-cie supermarket at 381, boul Maloney E. in Gatineau, Quebec.   This store is owned by Loblaw Companies.

This claim is scheduled to be filed in the District of Gatineau of Quebec Superior Court in the face of the failure of Loblaws to reply to a Legal Demand Letter.

The nature of the incident puts into question the veracity of any claim made by Loblaw Companies regarding any professed commitment to supporting human rights in the operation of its supermarkets.
