Racism in the Canadian media starts at the Parliamentary Press Gallery

It is apparent that the Parliamentary Press Gallery in Ottawa associated with the Office of Pierre Cuguen appears to be seeking to systematically exclude black, visible minorities from membership. We have sought to document those experiences.

In a recent case, the application of a black journalist was completely ignored in the face of apparent stonewalling and obfuscation tactics by Mr. Cuguen.

Such exclusion undermines visible minority perspectives on federal politics. In upcoming days The Canadian Business Daily will explore the consequences that such racism has had on the representation of visible minority perspectives.  #racism,#BlackLivesMatter
