Pack your belongings for 'revenge travel.'

Are you ready to go? Everyone else is as well.

According to travel and hospitality experts, this summer will be the "busiest travel season ever," with people hoping to make up for two years of not travelling or very limited travel.

Rising costs as a result of inflation and high fuel prices aren't deterring hungry travellers.

The desire to splurge on ultra-expensive hotels and flights has been dubbed "revenge travel," and it is likely to persist for many years to come.

Hotel rates are also rising, with the average night costing $149.38 in late March.

This summer, popular destinations include New York, Las Vegas, London, and Paris.
