The current upsurge in race-influenced crimes throughout the whole world really calls for positive measures to be put in place in order to help curb such a development. With authorities in Canada doing everything within their might to ensure that the country becomes one of the safest places for all, it comes as a shock to realize that there are also others who simply seek to destroy the good reputation of Canada.

There have always been suppressed calls for the police department in Ottawa to be investigated due to some suspicious conduct that were put on display by some of their personnel. However, such calls have always fallen on deaf ears and also treated as without any basis. It is such blatant oversight by the necessary authorities that has led to the unfortunate and painful death of Abdirahman Abdi, a 37-year old man who was beaten to death by some “dirty cops” within the Ottawa Police Department with a lot of the media reporting it as simply a case of an arrest gone violent. The cold-blooded murder of Abdirahman Abdi is just a tip of the iceberg as numerous shady activities by some dirty cops have been swept under the carpet. This is therefore the time for all to join hands collectively in ensuring that the perpetrators of Abdirahman Abdi’s murder are brought to justice.

Dezrin Carby-Samuels has been a victim at the hands of such “dirty cops” whose actions has resulted in her being unable to speak and walk. However, Abdirahman Abdi was not so lucky. It is time for all and sundry to come together in order to restore the peace and tranquillity that is known to exist in Ottawa and the whole of Canada. Collectively coming together to fight for justice for Abdirahman Abdi is the only way to ensure that the Ontario government will bring about the much needed reforms to help safeguard the life of each human being regardless of his or her race or gender.
