Google: TheNet101.com Presents Alternative to Fascism

What do you think of the idea of people and whole communities coming together to forge a new search engine?

I present my vision to internet users, like you, of a non-commercial oriented search engine.

I invite you to look at www.TheNet101.com to see what I have developed so far.  I invite you to add to that vision by contributing your own insights and expertise to further develop this project.

I am seeking crowd funding to further develop this initiative in association with other internet users like you.  If you like what I have developed so far, I would be grateful for your comments, support, pledges and/or even direct participation in this initiative.

Like probably you, I have become a Google user.  Google has sought to champion “internet freedoms” and “rights” when threatened by governmental control.  However, I have also noticed that Google has hypocritically sought to also use its “market power” ignore the freedoms of internet users.  This includes the unauthorized copying of books from independent authors to various infringements on privacy rights.

Having acted free of government regulations, Google’s elites appear to exploit the internet for billions of dollars, while using punitive search engine manipulations to unilaterally subvert the rights of small business owners whose livelihoods are often threatened by Google’s fascism.

I believe there is room on the internet for a new kind of search engine that is truly inspired by the democratic ethos of the internet.

Do you share such a belief?

Do you support a search engine project that would empower people and communities to expand an appreciation / knowledge of each other without the prejudice and hypocrisy of the elites who appear to preside over the internet’s major search engine?  Do you also believe that the internet’s major search engine has evolved into becoming totally insensitive to internet users that it purports to serve?

What other billion-dollar company does not even bother to have a telephone number to receive customer service complaints?

Arguably, such a search engine company would make companies like Walmart, and the largest Oil and Gas conglomerates that all at least have responsive customer service departments look like democratic Utopias.  Is it healthy for a search engine to become a Kangaroo Court with no managerial accountability when it comes to redressing client services and complaints?

Supporters of our campaign for a truly community-serving, democratic-oriented and non-judgemental search engine are welcome to volunteer their skills in the development of our project.

TheNet101.com is inspired by progressive, forward-thinking internet projects like Wikipedia which rely on community donations and volunteer support.
