(Xcheaters-xcheaters.com Wire) -- Target Canada's recent announcement that it plans to leave Canada is no surprise.  AgoraCosmopolitan.com media had forecasted the U.S. chain's retreat back to the U.S. back in 2013. 

Target Canada sought to treat Canada as another version of "Minnesota", which is a state in the U.S. rather than as a society independent from the United States, having a separate history and distinctive national identity.

I never liked Target along with its arrogant attitude and uglly shopping carts.  Hopefully Zellers will make a comeback or alternatively another Canadian retailer like Giant Tiger will expand into former Target locations.
