A few days ago, on 12 September, a very strange event was reported in the city of Halifax, Nova Scotia.

According to an anonymous testimony published on Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) a local resident affirmed to have seen an “orange light” hovering over the Canadian city.

“I was sitting in the living room, watching TV. I just saw a small orange light in the distance out of the corner of my eye [but] I didn't think much about it; I thought it was a planet that is visible in the fall, out of the same window”, the witness related. “Then, after a few minutes, I noticed it seemed much closer, and thought it was blinking. I got my elderly mother to come and look at it, [and] my two adult children were out at the time”, he added.

The Halifax resident affirmed that the unknown object started to emit multi-coloured lights. “Mom and I watched it for a few minutes. I said that it looked to be changing colours; she [his mother] thought so, too. I couldn't find the binoculars, so I got my gun with a scope to look at it”, he affirmed. “By this time it [the object] was moving. I put the scope on 9 and went out on the deck. I put the gun on top of the bird feeder to keep it still and looked through the scope. I could see it very clearly. It looked like a cone with a slightly domed bottom”, he explained.

“The bottom was orange with a soft white light coming off it. The thing itself looked like shimmering metal or glass with so many different colours; it seemed so crazy i didn't know what to think”, the witness described. “Then, there was a flash and it changed shape to what looked like a bell-like shape”, he continued.

“This shape was only for a few seconds. Then, it changed back to a cone. By now(maybe 10-15 minutes) it was getting behind some trees. I could see it only for another minute or so, and it was gone”, the Canadian citizen asserted.
