ABC-TV's Fringe presents shapeshifter characters.  Dr. Michael Salla has suggested that part of science fiction today, are, in fact, "hiding truth in plain sight".

Wikipedia elaborates that Fringe is an American science fiction television series created by J. J. Abrams, Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci. The series follows a Federal Bureau of Investigation "Fringe Division" team based in Boston, Massachusetts under the supervision of Homeland Security. The team uses unorthodox "fringe" science and FBI investigative techniques to investigate a series of unexplained, often aggregious cases.

Alexa Collier indicates that Manipulative Extraterrestrials referred to by the Gnostics as “artificial man”, reportedly “have the ability to create a clone – -something that looks like a human being but is a robot."  Alexa Collier is a self-described contactee of Ethical Extraterrestrials. 

Alex Collier elaborates: "My understanding is that the only way you can tell between one of these clones and a real human being is if you are clairvoyant and can see the energy field."

"A clone has no (ovoid) energy field around its body, only a slight white color around the head, which is the field produced by the microprocessor that has been grown inside the head."

Artificial man is apparently oriented toward “Service-to-Self” and has apparently sought to use clones to inspire a political economic system with a complementary capitalist ideology.
