A Cleveland, TN, mother and 15-year-old daughter reported a series of strange events while they observed a cigar-shaped UFO "floating silently above the tree line" beginning about 7:45 p.m. on April 23, 2013, according to testimony from the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) witness reporting database. The two were outside playing badminton when the object was first seen. "I looked up and thought I saw a plane, when it really turned out to be a cigar-looking, white object floating silently above the tree line," the reporting witness stated. "I pointed it out to my daughter, who for some reason didn't take it seriously. I found this weird." The woman kept watching the object while she played. "It was going southwest and then suddenly I noticed it was going north. Throughout the duration of this time, I was constantly looking back and forth (quite often) and when I looked up after it turned north, I realized it had disappeared." The woman's dog seemed to be acting odd. "This whole time, as well, I noticed our dog was acting strangely and looking at the trees it flew over. As I looked occasionally with him, I noticed two or three scaly figures walking where he was looking." The woman's daughter turned her attention to the dog. "My daughter called for him, as did I, but when he came my daughter suddenly became serious about it all. She told me she saw a golden orange light off in the trees coming from the north angle."
