Weather modification creates Newfoundland ice island

A History Channel programme (video above) suggests that climate change that is causing the melting and break up of Greeland’s glaciera are the result of intentional weather modification.

The St. John’s Telegram editors elaborate that until you actually see the Petermann Ice Island up close and personal, it’s hard to imagine just how big it really is.

The giant slab of Greenland ice broke away from the larger Petermann Glacier about a year ago and is now floating only a handful of miles off of St. Anthony.

The Northern Pen’s Juris Graney recently hopped in a local tour boat to see the island for himself (some photos have been included with this article).
