According to a report published in UFO Sightings Daily, a red UFO, Observed in the skies over New Orleans, Louisiana is believed to have triggered the power outage during the Super Bowl Game between San Francisco 49ers and Baltimore Ravens. The website, UFO Sightings Daily, is coordinated by Scott C. Waring. He had been affiliated with the United States Air Force at SAC base (USAF flight line). He currently owns an ESL School in Taiwan. In this report, published on 7 Feb, 2013, Scott Waring has published images of the UFO, along with a YouTube video of the sighting.  

Mr. Waring sites a news report published in IBN Times and tells us how the UFO stopped the telecast of the Super Bowl Game.

“The biggest sporting event in the United States was stopped for 34 minutes after the lights suddenly went out. One hundred and eleven million viewers lost the broadcast.”

The report further describes how the officials are unsure about what happened during that game.

"Officials in New Orleans are still baffled by what happened to disrupt the American football game between Baltimore Ravens and San Francisco 49ers."

It also describes how the officials could not find the reason behind this disruption.

"Confusion deepened when the energy supplier of New Orleans admitted its investigation had drawn a blank."

The report tells us how a full scale investigation has been ordered.

"A full-scale inquiry has been mounted by the owners of the Super dome. Consultants were being drafted in to analyze data."

It also mentions the steps taken in the aftermath of this blackout.

"More than $1m of improvements to the stadium was commissioned in the aftermath of the blackout.”

Finally, Mr. Waring questions if the UFO sighted over the state could be related to this power cut.

"But could footage of the sky that shows a UFO over the southern state city at the time of the power cut hold clues?"
