Internet rallies against New World Order's SOPA

"SOPA" is an apparent scheme by crypto-fascists who seek to use "online piracy" as a pretext to destroy the democracy of the internet.  Crypto-fascists who seek to establish a New World Order (NWO) want to establish totalitarian control over the internet.

The internet today goes on strike in protest over proposed provisions that could cause enormous harm to the Internet and freedom of speech. The Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA), if made law, would expand the ability of U.S. law enforcement and copyright holders to fight online trafficking in copyrighted intellectual property and counterfeit goods.

From GoodCanadianKid:

What Powers would SOPA Grant?

Laws are currently in existence that award law enforcement the ability to shut-down websites, applications and services that commit copyright infringement. SOPA would expand and extend these powers by (a) providing law enforcement the ability to target third parties which facilitate or enable copyright infringement (e.g., Google, youtube, Facebook and twitter) and (b) grant copyright holders a substantially more active role in the legal process concerning identifying and serving alleged copyright infringers.

In his latest blog post, Michael Geist, Canada Research Chair in Internet and E-commerce Law at the University of Ottawa, wrote that SOPA provisions are “designed to have an extra-territorial effect that manifests itself particularly strongly in Canada.” With sites like YouTube, Twitter and Facebook becoming liable for everything their users post, it would be a lot more likely they would censor users at the risk of getting shut down.

More information on SOPA and its little brother PIPA can be found here.
