NDP: Mulcair's new ad - I am no Tommy Douglas, no Trudeau
The NDP is recruiting donations to launch what they call the largest non-election advertising campaign we've ever run -- a key step in our New Democrat plan to defeat Harper in 2015. However, if Canadians were hoping for a charismatic leader with a vision of Canada like Tommy Douglas [first video below]; or former Prime Minister Pierre Elliot Trudeau [second video below] you might wish to think again.
Look how Trudeau and Tommy Douglas using humour spoke from the heart about Canada, and compare that to Mr. Mulcair's persona.
Mr. Mulcair's commercial presents no vision of Canada, and ignores critical national issues like Canadian sovereignty in relation to the "North American Security Perimeter". It is apparent that the video was intended to show to the corporate boardrooms of Canada that the NDP is now "safe" for the Canadian Council of Chief Executives.
The commercial is strikingly insincere and packaged, and completely lacks Jack Layton's kind of charisma.
Arguably, "CEO" Tom Mulcair's new commercial makes Stephen Harper look like a rock star. My fellow New Democrats, do Mr. Mulcair a favour, and don't donate to such a commercial.

We living with MS know who you people are and most of us would never support a party who's leader didn't support this vote to help us just because it was a bill introduced by a Liberal. Shame on you!
