Fashion BBW: How to Select a Plus-Sized Wardrobe

Are you planning a perfect plus sized wardrobe? Here we have all the tips and guidelines that would help you craft a wonderful plus size wardrobe without spending too much money on clothes. So here is how and what to do:

1 -      Over-Size Clothes -- A Strict No-No:

Stop getting satisfied with all the shapeless oversize outfits. Trying wearing what fits you perfectly. Remember, wearing ungraceful and unshapely attires not only hide your appearance but they are also unfavorable most of the times. Try finding clothes with cuts and styles; wear that can flaunt your best fuller shape and at the same time, disguise what you don’t want to reveal. Before buying dresses, remember tailoring and seams play an important role in making your shape appropriate.

TIP: Avoid buying the wrong size!

2 -      Black is Not the Deal:

According to different stylists, black is not the right color for plus size women. Any clothes in black would certainly not look figure flattering on a woman’s body. Tailoring, appropriate styling and latest fashion trends are essentially important when it comes to dress selection, but at the same time, selection of colors also plays an important role. On some women, monotone shaded apparels can look just more flattering than plain dull black.

TIP: When wearing black, try adding different colors to your dress and also, by using bold makeup colors to enhance your skin tone. This color has the tendency to wash out most skin colors.

3 -      Style Guide for Large Size Petite:

Large size petites should avoid wearing overly long plus size tops, jackets or sweaters that would make them look shorter than their actual body frame. Any top that is constructed to rest below the hip would shorten the look of your legs. However, any top that stops just at your hip bone would help you look taller and slim.

TIP: Overly long plus size tops and jackets would look good only on taller plus size frame. The shorter, the better is the rule for all large size petite ladies.
