The Ottawa Book Expo in collaboration with the Smoque Shack would be bringing you the perfect combination of Canadian cooking and literary culturethis year, 2020.

Ottawa Book Expo 2020 plans to bring together entrepreneurs who seek to market and sell innovative products and services. The expo also celebrates the brilliance of Canadian cuisine by having a barbecue available for food lovers. The expo would be introducing the Great Canadian Barbecue™which would offer a wide array of tapas-style barbecue options in addition to the variety of other Canadian food being served.Every ticket holder will get a serving of each dish and according to the discretion of SmoqueShack, additional meal servings may be claimed. The expo would hold on June 7th and July 24th-26th at the beautiful Horticultural building in Lansdowne Park.

Tickets are available now at OttawaBookExpo.ca, with an early bird rate ofjust $89.00 per day. This ticket ensures participants are not only well-fed but that they are able to sample all the different food served each day and to enjoy the entire expo at no additional cost.

The event offers a local literary and culinary experience like no other and tickets may soon sell out. At the expo, you’ll get a chance to spend the day amongst books while indulging in comfort food. You’ll also get to spoil your eyes on a literary feast while enjoying a literal feast in celebration of Canadian cuisine and culture.

This partnership promises a physically and intellectually satiating experience, just like the Ottawa Book Expo of 2019, which was an incredible success. The Great Canadian Barbecue™ will be serving food from 11:00 AM until 5 PM on June 7, 2020, and July 24-26, 2020. Anyone can choose to attend on any of these four days, which means there will be enough food and fun for everyone.

Books and food are two of life’s necessities. So, one of the best ways to spend your day would be to attend an expo that not only encourages you to immerse yourself in between pages of hundreds of books but also to eat your heart out.

The menu would feature many Canadian favourites. You’ll be served some delicious pulled pork sliders, which are a classic barbecue staple. You will also be bombarded with smoked dishes, cooked in Smoque shack’s signature style. Smoque Shack will also provide their signature Smoqued Andouille sausage corn dogs and skewered Smoqued shrimp served alongside timeless favourites like two bones of pork ribs and the all-time favourite brisket served on a crustini with horseradish mayonnaise. Asides barbecued foods; you’ll also get a chance to enjoy non-barbecue things like jerk chicken egg rolls. There will be multiple side options like mini mac and cheeses. You could snack on these fun meals while going down the line of booths showcasing different books.

The Ottawa Book Expo is unique in exploring and celebrating local talent.Support local grassroots-oriented authors, publishers and literary vendors by buying a ticket and exploring the vast pool of literary talent Canada has to offer.
