An internal investigation is underway by Ottawa police after a video surfaced showing an officer allegedly punch a man in the face outside an Ottawa homeless shelter.

It was just a couple of days ago that The Canadian reported the Ottawa Police's tendency to target homeless people, minorities and any other group who they think is vulnerable to abuse.

The video, which was shot on Monday afternoon, was uploaded to LiveLeak on Tuesday. Grainy and dark in the rain, the video shows a man in uniform viciously punch someone sitting upright on the sidewalk in front of a Salvation Army shelter in downtown Ottawa.

According to CBC News, the man had been yelling racial slurs at the officer.

An internal investigation is underway by Ottawa police after a video surfaced showing an officer allegedly punch a man in the face outside an Ottawa homeless shelter.

The video, which was shot on Monday afternoon, was uploaded to LiveLeak on Tuesday. Grainy and dark in the rain, the video shows a man in uniform viciously punch someone sitting upright on the sidewalk in front of a Salvation Army shelter in downtown Ottawa.

According to CBC News, the man had been yelling racial slurs at the officer.

“As hard as it is for the public to see, they have to understand the entire context of it,” Matt Skof, head of the Ottawa Police Association, told the CBC.

The truth of the matter is that the Ottawa Police specifically always have an excuse for their civil rights abuses.

Ottawa Police Const. Chuck Benoit confirmed with Global News that an internal probe is underway.  However, you can expect this to be a farce.

Ottawa Police officers have no effective oversight organization.  If you're rights are abused, your recourse is to make a complaint to oneof their buddies in so-called "Police Standards" who will promptly exonerate his bussies of any wrongdoing.

The Ottawa Police is effectively a lawless organization without accountability, and is comprised of roaming gangs of thugs who often have God-complexes, and who can target citizens like this homeless man knowing that they will always be "justified" in whatever they do.
