On 30 January, an extraordinary sighting was reported in the city of South Gate, California, United States.

According to a video published by YouTube user and UFO researcher Secureteam10, a local resident caught on camera what he believes is an unidentified flying object.

“This [the photographs] was sent over by a man named Daniel, who says that he believe he has caught an actual craft of some sort on camera”, the ufologist stated. “He [the author of the photographs] says that it was honestly undeniable; it looked nothing like a balloon, barely looks like anything he’s ever seen that’s man-made”, the YouTube user continued.

The UFO researcher also added that, in the opinion of the witness, it had “a trapezoid shape” and it was “floating beneath the clouds, about a mile or two from his backyard”.

“He further said that it was stationary for the most part [of the time], but began moving when his brothers flashed their phone camera flash lights in its direction, almost like if it was reacting to the light being shined at it”, SecureTeam10 expressed.

After that, the object allegedly started to “move side to side, and did so in an extremely fluid way”.

However, the Californian citizen could not film the event, since it was “so dark out”, but instead he began “to increase the exposure settings on his Nikon P900 camera” so that he could catch the object.

“It is very clear that whatever this is, is not a plane, it does not look like any drone that I’ve ever seen”, SecureTeam10 declared.

On this sighting, UFO researcher and writer Scott C. Waring, of UFO Sightings Daily, commented: “The UFO has sharp edges and is easily hidden in the smoggy sky”.

He added that it resembled a B2 bomber, but he believes that a plane cannot fly like that. “The UFO almost looks like a b2 stealth bomber on its back end, but that jet cannot perform such a manoeuvre”, he stated.

In his opinion, this was an “excellent catch”.
