Toronto's Mount Sinai: Dr. Jerry Tenenbaum Calls Patient Fat in Public
Dr. Jerry Tenenbaum probably does not care for his patients. It seems that he does not even treat them with any respect. If you visit the website ‘RateMDs’, you will get a fair idea of the kind of reputation Dr Tenenbaumis enjoys with his patients.
A patient talks about being insulted by the doctor and being given generic answers.
“When I went to him desperate to get answers, he was rude, insulted me and gave me the same answers I could hear him give all the other patients.â€
The patient then tells us that the doctor called him fat and lazy. He further talks about finding another specialist who could improve his/her quality of life without prescribing any pain pills.
“He told me I was fat, lazy, and need more exercise. He was wrong. I found another specialist who has been great at helping me have a better quality of life without pain pills.â€
The patient tried to lose weight as prescribed by the doctor but it did not really help him get rid of the pain.
“He chalked it up to me being overweight (he wasn't exactly a healthy weight, either!) and, even after losing all of my excess weight and doing a total lifestyle overhaul, I am still in constant pain.â€
If you have visited the doctor, tell us about your experience.
