American families, not defence budget, should make sacrifices




When it comes to making decisions about how to save the U.S. from the economic crisis, many people claim the cuts should come from defence spending.

It has been docucmented over 20 percent of the U.S. total budget goes to defense spending, which has many Americans disgusted, but the U.S. Secretary of Defense, Leon Panetta, begs to differ. Will cuts damage U.S. security?

Lawrence Korb, senior fellow at the Center for American Progress, gives us his take on the integrity of U.S. Barack Obama words.  In the midst of the currrent financial crsis, the U.S. Barack Obama administration continues to spend billions of dollars of military hardware, and instigating wars that can be used to legitimate the purchasing of military hardware.
