NATO Wars accelerates Climate Change

It is obvious that the ongoing NATO terror wars in Islamic world led by USA-UK terror twins have deadly accelerated the dangerous climate change manifested in unpredictable weather conditions. The Climate Summits have become routine meetings of world leaders to enjoy the finer things of life, and not to redress such vital problems.

As a mere formality, the delegates from over 190 countries converged in South African coastal city of Durban for a two-week conference beginning on 28 November and departed on 9 December 2011. The hope of humanity to break deadlocks on how to curb emissions of carbon dioxide and other pollutants is still alive though.

In solidarity with the millions of people already feeling the impacts of climate change, hundreds of people protested in the halls of the UN Climate Talks recently to demand that nations not sign a “death sentence” in Durban.

The leaders assembled, talked, ate and slept well, and drank heavily even during the deliberations and quit South Africa but the issue remains unresolved.

India and Brazil among 17 of the world's biggest greenhouse gas emitters. Russia and Japan have also said they will not make further emission cuts under the protocol, though it is not known whether they, like Canada, plan formally to withdraw and joined the top most emitters US and China in wanting to delay beginning talks on a new global climate agreement until at least 2015.

Most recently, numerous ‘green organizations‘, inclusive the International Energy Agency, have concluded that in order to meet the goal of keeping global average temperature rise since pre-industrial times below 2C, emissions should peak and begin to fall around 2020, if not earlier. The EU and many smaller developing states want to reach agreement in Durban on starting talks pretty much immediately, reaching agreement by 2015 and cutting emissions by 2020.

The USA, Russia and Japan were already arguing for a longer timeframe. China, now the world's biggest emitter at par with USA, is said by sources to be more flexible, though its top priority for Durban is the Kyoto Protocol.

Was the November/December 2011 climate summit a waste of time? Not exactly, because it has forced the stakeholders to take the issue a bit more seriously than before. It is vital that there is a credible solution found, sooner than later, through negotiations. There is no other way climate change can be halted.

An Observation

Criminals always want to escape punishment and look for loop holes in the system and seek the help of big criminal gangs. India and Brazil seek the help of big climatic criminal states USA and China to somehow postpone the issue, if possible forever! But the besieged nations, especially the island nations, are now more climate conscious than before, asking for remedial measures to arrest fast growing danger to atmosphere.

NATO and USA-UK terror twins must be charged with anti-climate conspiracy and asked for payment for their part of contribution to pollute the atmosphere and effect speedy climate change though terror wars.
