Canadian Basketball: Halifax Rainmen beats Summerside Storm
The Halifax Rainmen defeated the Summerside Storm on Saturday evening in front of an enthusiastic crowd of 3,302 fans. The final score of the game was 110-97.
Taliek Brown led the Rainmen with 22 points, followed by Justin Johnson with 17. Tyrone Levett had an explosive 15 points and 15 rebounds for the Rainmen, while Lawrence Wright and Abdullahi Kuso had 14 points each.
The Storm was led by Louie McCroskey who netted 19 points, followed by Stephan McDowell with 17 and Al Stewart with 16. The box score statistics can be found at www.dakstats.com.
The Rainmen will play their next three games on the road, and will return to the Metro Centre on Sunday, February 19 to face the first-place London Lightning in a 2 p.m. matchup.
