In FOX-TV's Science Fiction TV series, The First People as cited by Wikia were believed to be a mysterious group of ancient humans, supposedly the first race of humans to evolve on the planet.

The idea of a First People walking with the dinosaurs contradicts the popular understanding of human origins associated with Darwinian Evolution.  However, indigenous elders suggest that a First People did exist long before dinosaurs existed on Earth, but different from the description of First People presented on FOX's Fringe.
