A witness has reported sighting strange objects in the skies over the city of Clearwater in Florida, US on the 28^th of October, 2012 at 7:40 PM. This report has been obtained from a testimony included in the database of Mutual UFO Network (MUFON). The witness has mentioned sighting 2 orbs being chased by jets, then fireball with tails.

The witness indicates that he frequently searches the sky for unusual objects and was doing the same when the alleged sighting occurred.

"Am a nightly sky watcher and multiple reporter. Walked out my front door as I do multiple times each night to look for objects. Noticed a jet directly overhead, and then noticed an orb behind it."

He or she then describes how the orbs were being followed by jets. He also gives us a brief description of the chase and the movement of the UFOs.

“Then another orb being followed by a jet. The first orb followed the leading jet heading south until both flew out of sight. Second orb changed direction 180 degrees now heading north jet made sharp turn to pursue orb but by the time the jet completed the 180 degree turn the orb was half way across the horizon and continued heading north until out of sight.”

He or she also describes the shape and colour of these orbs.

“Both orbs were white and star sized.”

After that, he describes sighting the fireball and how it flew over his head.

"I turned back to the south and observed a meteor looking object that came in to the atmosphere directly over my head descending from the wsw.”

Finally, he or she provides a description of the fireball and its approximate size.

"Object was a fireball about a half inch wide leaving an 8 - 10 inch trail of sparks and flames."

The above quotes were edited for clarity. We request the readers to keep in mind that many reports of UFO sightings can be explained scientifically as natural phenomenon.

When we, in Canada and other western democracies like the U.S., read such reports of UFO sightings, it arguably is perplexing when governments don't discuss the UFO activity in a spirit of openness that is consistent with what a democracy is supposed to all about. If military jets chase an unidentified object in the sky over public space, should there not be some sort of acknowledgement by public officials if, indeed, democracy serves citizenry? Doesn't militaries serve and report to the public in a democracy?

This is not the first instance when such an incident of UFOs being chased by jets has been reported. Many websites and UFO journals have included reports of such incidents, and we can also find videos of UFOs being chased by jets. Such incidents confirm the presence of a MIEC or Military-Industrial-Extraterrestrial Complex of interests as reported by Dr Michael E. Salla.

Dr Salla and researchers like David Icke suggest that in order to preserve the mutual interests of the repressive aliens and the military, the government fails to provide an explanation for such incidents.
