UFO: Bright, Star-like Object Appears Over Campbell River, British Columbia
Date: 29 November, 2019.
Place: Campbell River, Province of British Columbia, Canada.
Only about a week ago, more specifically on 29 November, a very strange incident occurred in the small city of Campbell River, British Columbia.
According to an anonymous report posted on Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) online database, a local resident who was walking home claimed to have spotted a glowing, orange object hovering over the Canadian town.
“In the evening of Friday, 29 November, 2019, I was walking home along Evergreen Road in Campbell River. As I approached the crest of the road, I came to a spot where the street lights were not working, so it was quite dark, giving me an excellent view of the starsâ€, the witness described. “It was at that time that I noticed a single star that stood out to me because of its colourâ€, he said.
The British Columbia resident then explained that this object had an unusual orange colour and “appeared to be larger than the other starsâ€. “It had that orange/reddish glow that looked to me to be very similar to the glow given off by a high pressure sodium light. I remember thinking to myself that maybe it was this colour to me because it was closeâ€, he expressed. “It appeared to be larger than the other starsâ€, he added.
Just minutes after coming into sight, the object moved towards the south until it disappeared. “It was at that moment that I noticed that the ‘star’ appeared to be tracking to the south. I had just enough time to think the word ‘satellite’ when it accelerated away to the south at incredible speed, of which I could only guess to be in the many thousands of knots, as it was gone from view in about a secondâ€, the Canadian asserted. “I should add that being on the crest of the hill, I had an excellent view of the Gulf of Georgia to my southâ€, he mentioned.
