Richmond Fair begins September 13 in Richmond, Ontario, about fifteen minutes from Stittsville. This year features two new rides, in addition to livestock shows, live entertainment, trade shows, demolition derbies and more. Performers include Shane Yellowbird, Blackwell, George Hamilton IV and more. Admission on Thursday is free.Ottawa Fun Runs (and Walks) for Charity
The 3 km and 8 km
Carefor Run/Walk will happen on September 1 at 8 a.m. The race is located at the Terry Fox Athletic Facility, just ten minutes from Old Ottawa South. If you collect $100 in donations, registration is free. Volunteers and donations are always needed and appreciated. Annual Superwalk will take place in Andrew Haydon Park, moments from the Bayshore Shopping Centre, September 8 at 10:30 a.m. Be sure to register if you are interested in walking.
