Novotel Ottawa workers, who are trying to form a union, gathered for coffee in solidarity on December 11th.

They occupied the main restaurant and management had no choice but to shut down the restaurant and give the coffee for free. Supporters then gathered in the front of the hotel and marched and chanted "Solidarity Forever" A majority of Novotel workers are now demanding that their union be recognized.
