The singer was photographed grabbing some fresh air with a male friend near her home in North London.

Decked out in a trademark polo shirt, jeans and pumps, Amy looked expression-less as her pal tried to make conversation.

The sighting follows a difficult few weeks for the talented star who once scooped FIVE Grammys for her album Back To Black.

Her European summer tour was cancelled after a disastrous performance in Belgrade, Serbia last month.

Amy, 27, was booed in Belgrade as she crawled across the stage plastered.

Last weekend worried friends of the star also told of their fears that she is drinking herself to death.

A close source said she had blacked out on vodka three times in the past week.
