Michael Jackson: Dr. Conrad Murray further linked to crime scene
MICHAEL Jackson's bodyguard told a court yesterday he saw Dr Conrad Murray pull an intravenous drip tube from the star's leg after he was found dead.
Alberto Alvarez said the tube was connected to a saline bag, which the jury heard appeared to contain the powerful sedative that killed Jacko, 50.
He said: "There was a long clear plastic tube hanging from the IV bag. It was connected to Mr Jackson's leg. I saw him pulling it out of his leg."
Alvarez described how Murray — who is on trial accused of killing Michael with a lethal dose of propofol — asked him to help clear the scene before paramedics arrived at the Los Angeles mansion.
He said Murray passed him a "handful of vials" from Jacko's nightstand and told him to put them in a grocery bag.
Murray also told him to take the saline bag down from an IV stand by the bed and place it in a blue bag, the bodyguard said.
