Folk rock/Canadian country legend Gordon Lightfoot will play Des Moines' Hoyt Sherman Place on Wednesday, May 1. "An Evening with Gordon Lightfoot: 50 Years on the Carefree Highway Tour" will open at 8 p.m. in the Hoyt Sherman Theater. Tickets for the show are $49 to $64 through the Hoyt Sherman box office, and slightly more than that (after fees) online through Ticketmaster. Canadian-born Gordon Lightfoot defined Canadian country and American folk rock during the 60's and 70's.
